OUR TEAM
Our clinicians have a wide array of skills, and we utilize concepts from each therapeutic modality, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other trauma therapy approaches. At Berman Psychotherapy, we work with adolescents to adults; individuals, groups, families, and couples. Telehealth is also available.

Alyza Berman, LCSW, RRT-P
Alyza Berman, LCSW has been working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice and at several treatment centers as an individual, group, and family therapist since 2002. She received her Masters of Social Work from University of Pennsylvania and her Bachelors of Sociology from Indiana University. She was the Co-Founder of Body Matters, a program to help children and adolescents who struggle with disordered eating and is the Founder, Executive Director, and Clinical Director of The Berman Center, a treatment center based in Atlanta, Georgia that treats individuals who suffer from mental health issues and/or substance abuse.
Alyza has a passion for helping others become the best version of themselves while making them feel and believe that they matter and belong. She utilizes her authentic self and empathetic approach to help her clients find meaning, purpose, progress, and hope. She believes that her clients are partners in their treatment and therefore, personalizes and individualizes each treatment plan to what the client’s needs are.
She is skilled in a wide variety of therapeutic modalities to treat mental health issues such as depression and anxiety, addiction and substance abuse, eating disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder, with a specialty in eating and anxiety disorders.
